- Managing information technology and computer systems
- Ensuring technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software
- Troubleshooting hardware, software and the network operating system
- Training staff about potential uses of existing technology
- Maintaining current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
- Researching current and potential resources and services and giving recommendations
