STEP 4 – The Creative
Some creative guidelines are –

  • Show a clear message – what you want to say should stand out clearly in one line
  • Use a good colour combination – high contrast colours can be viewed from a distance
  • Keep the ad simple, as the time available to view an Outdoor ad is between 5-7 seconds. Use clear images and as few words as possible. A picture is worth a thousand words.
  • The ad should be clearly visible from at least 25 metres away
  • Give simple, clear information and your company's contact details
  • Creative executions like humour can keep audiences involved and therefore, create better impact
